Our Dentist

Dr. Joanna Schmitt, DDS

Dr. Schmitt was born and raised in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. Her passion for sports, especially volleyball, earned her a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. As a student athlete, she earned a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in kinesiology. Her studies then took her to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where she graduated with honors, as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She was also awarded the coveted “Best Hands” Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award.

She moved to Las Vegas in 2015 where she began working in a family practice that accepted dental emergencies. In her 7 years with the practice Dr. Schmitt honed her general dentistry skills, as well as expanded her knowledge of facial/dental trauma. She is passionate about all areas of dentistry ranging from cosmetic to functional treatment. Dr. Schmitt enjoys meeting and caring for patients as if they were family. She strives to provide the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking and boating with her family and two doodles.
